Are you tired of not having a business card to give to all the men you meet in bars?

Embarrassed to have to say, “Oh, I’m actually … unemployed … um … check out my blog …” ?

Post-its in your purse weighing you down?

Or perhaps you are employed but work for a cheap-ass company that doesn’t provide you with cards? Maybe you’re self-employed, or a freelancer, or just want something that’s got your personal details stamped on it in case you ever forget them. YUD agrees that is wise.

Thank you, A., for telling me about this darling little establishment, Moo.com, where you can design your own mini cards (like A’s gorgeous piece here, sorry, penny not included)4942_120912001071_711581071_3434597_2001867_n, as well as the standard size version and an array of other paper products.

You can use your own artwork, if you are artistically inclined like A., or perhaps photos from your website, which YUD did.

Waaaaay cuter than that totally boresville beige card you got back at TK-Co.

And you can even buy an adorable plastic, or felt, case to put them in. Multiple colors available! All for the highly reasonable amount of $30.99 for both case and 100 cards.

Did I really need another incentive to bar hop?

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

  1. It’s ok, YUD, you can credit me….www.AllisonMalinsky.com

I’m an artist – it is sort of like being unemployed when sales are slow….so I continue to write:

Moo(s) are fabulous, I get compliments all the time. I wonder if it is the art or the cards themselves (…damn, I think this post told me what I did not want to hear).

In all seriousness, I have increased my web impressions 10 fold because I actually have a little piece of what I do on me at all times and I’ve learned to flip the little plastic case open like I’m dealing cards.

Here’s to shameless self promotion. a.k.a. Moo, thank you.

  2. [...] I love this project for its visual enormity—imagine 6.7 million cards, laid end-to-end! Plus, I can’t wait to read the stories; if my own experiences are any example, they’re gonna be good. YUD herself submitted 3 cards: One from the one that folded, one from the one from which she was laid-off, and one of her very own. [...]
