YUD’s mother would like to point out that, in fact, she could NOT be Ali McGraw’s older sister unless there have been at work some bizarre time-machine machinations involving a DeLorean, a large supply of plutonium (compliments of your friendly neighborhood plutonium-suppliers), and, of course, the elegant brilliance of the flux capacitor. Or, at the very least, a time-traveling phone booth. That would so rock.

As for Ali McGraw, will she was born April 1938!!!!! That makes her 6 years older then me, so I couldn’t be her older sister. Did you ever see the movie Love Story?
Now, a quick check of IMDB confirms that Ali McGraw was born in 1938, and therefore is indeed 6 years older than YUD’s mother. However, lest you think I am a complete fool, or even if you do anyway, I did see the movie Love Story, and the Ali McGraw I have burned into my brain along with that sweeping theme song and countless tears is a Love-Story-era Ali McGraw, who was something like 32 at the time, which is younger than me, even. And Mom, you have to admit that you would be her older sister. Although, obviously, not at the time.
I’d also like to take this moment to mention that that time the neighbor told you I was out driving the car when I was 15 and I claimed it was another kid in school who had the same exact car and also kinda looked like me, it actually was me. Sorry!!! But look, I turned out okay. Right?
