Yes, sad news today, my friends.
All of you avid readers of Modern Bride and Elegant Bride, well, you’re going to have to be content with reading Plain Old (Sometimes Drunk and Narsty) Bride from now on. Also, the Cookie has crumbled, and Gourmet—well, I’m truly bummed about you. I had a good friend who once worked at your pub, and I remember your offices, and your delicious comestibles, well. And I have no idea how I ended up with that subscription to Bon Appetit, and if it relates to your demise, I am indeed sorry.
One might ask, is it a fortuitous day to interview at yet another food mag? And, one’s answer would be, maybe? For that is where YUD must go, wearing her flat boots and dress and belt and sweater, since it’s cold outside, and yet she must maintain a stylish assemblage to some extent, for she is heading for midtown on a Monday.
